I tell you, if he’s not the best 6 or 7 year old engineer at the end of all this, then we’re doing something wrong!
4 weeks down.
Wow, four weeks since his surgery! And only 2 more weeks until he may be given the go-ahead to start walking again. Can you believe it’s going by so fast?
Healing.
There’s not a lot to share today regarding what we did, but what I did want to share is an update on his healing.
A quiet day.
This will be a short one. We didn’t do a whole lot today, and there’s not much to talk about.
Pool Party!
Well, ok, it wasn’t really a pool party, but we did finally get in the pool! I’ll get to that in a minute, though.
A time for celebrating.
There’s not a whole lot to report on today. For the most part, it was a pretty normal Sunday.
Lots and lots of trains.
Today was a fun day! As I mentioned yesterday, we were planning a short day trip today. Despite some rain in the forecast, we decided to take the trip to Flagstaff, mainly to see trains. Okay, mainly to get out of the heat, but centered on seeing trains!
A day with family.
I’m sorry to report that we didn’t go swimming today. We did, however, spend much of the day with family having fun. So, I think that makes up for it.
3 weeks down.
Today is the 3-week anniversary of Elijah surgery. It’s amazing how fast it’s gone, and how well he continues to do.
A day of good news.
If you’ve been reading this blog, then you know we had two big things going on today. The first was our plumbing leak being fixed and the second was Elijah’s first follow-up appointment. We have good news to report on both fronts.
