A great birthday!

Sorry I missed posting yesterday, but it was a busy day, and I just didn’t remember by the end of it. I was too worn out! It was a fun day, though, and Elijah didn’t want it to end. Literally, he tried to stay awake as long as he could last night because he didn’t want the day to be over.

We started the day with some Dunkin Donuts blueberry Munchkins. He really likes blueberry muffins and donuts. He also really likes Cinnabon, but we weren’t able to get to one in the morning. So I went out and got the Dunkin Donuts before everyone woke up, and then he scarfed some down before heading off to physical therapy. Yep, that’s right, he had to do physical therapy on his birthday.

As soon as he and Julia got home we packed everyone up in the car and headed to the Legoland Discovery Center here in Phoenix. I’ll share some pictures of our trip there. Our passes also get us into the neighboring Aquarium at the mall as well, so we went there too.

After that we headed home and dropped off me and Abigail, so Julia and Elijah could head over to Good News Club. After that, Julia’s family came over for Elijah’s birthday dinner of pizza, Cheetos, chips and salsa, and s’mores brownies for dessert. He’s a health food kind of guy if you can’t tell! But more importantly they came over so that he could play some video games with his cousins, which he loves to do!

It was a non-stop day, but a good day. Today’s also been quite busy, but in a different way. We did get over to Cinnabon today for his official birthday breakfast. And tonight we went to a celebration for my Auntie Ann and Uncle Richard’s 50th wedding anniversary, where we got to see a lot of my relatives we haven’t seen in a while. That was fun too.

And, we still have one more birthday party to throw for Elijah, with my family. So his birthday is not quite over yet!
