Don’t get me wrong, today was a good day, and I want to make sure that we’re not always focused on what’s going to happen in the future, but enjoying the time that we have right now. However, we are really looking forward to his doctor’s appointment tomorrow.
That’s right. Today was Elijah’s, and Julia’s, first day of homeschool. I’m happy to report that it went quite well. Plus, Elijah got some new roommates today! So much to report.
It was another good day, despite a fairly contentious battle between Elijah and Abigail for rights to the iPad. That got a little intense, and resulted in it being taken away from both of them, but other than that things were pretty good.
Sorry to be boring, but there’s not too much to share today. It was another day where we did our normal things. Nothing too exciting.
It’s been over 2 weeks now since Elijah had his surgery. Today was much like many of the other days over the past week. It went by fast, and Elijah did well.
Well, the good news is Abigail bounced back quickly and nobody else has gotten sick, yet. We had planned to do quite a bit today, but because of Abigail, we just stayed home and took it easy.
I woke up this morning to the sound of Abigail throwing up, or as she calls it, “coughing.” It was around 5 this morning, and it lasted pretty steadily for a couple hours. She hasn’t thrown up now for a couple hours at this point, but we’re not sure if it’s over.
Can you believe that it’s been almost 2 weeks since Elijah had surgery? Time is seeming to fly these days. And what we’re really looking forward to, is his appointment with the doctor one week from today.
Remember yesterday, when I was sharing how things were pretty calm and there wasn’t much to talk about? Well, that didn’t last too long.
It’s funny. As I thought about what to write in today’s blog, I found myself getting worried because I didn’t have much to say, as if all of you reading this would be disappointed or bored because nothing exciting happened today. In all reality, though, that’s really just about the best news I could possibly give.
