If any of you reading this are not in Arizona, the excitement for today was our rain. It was one of the wettest October days in history. We always get excited when it rains outside! Despite the rain, we did get out a couple of times, but it also gave us some good time to be in and get some things done… Like decorating our volcano.
We’ve got a lot of things going on this week, but none of those things happened today. Today wasn’t boring, but it was pretty normal, and there’s not too much to share about.
First of all, I have to apologize. Sorry I missed posting last night. It was just a busy day and a busy night, and by the time I remembered I was heading to bed. Just a warning though, I do plan on cutting back on blogging soon, most likely after Elijah’s birthday. I’m still figuring out what exactly I want to do with that, and some more details will come out later this week. Today, though, we had a party!
I won’t bore you with the details of today. It was pretty much a repeat of last Friday, so if you really want to know what we did today, you can go back and read last week’s post from Friday! If you’d like a really quick recap, though, I’ll give you one below.
Well, today’s trip to the dentist was a flop. This is the only story I’ll share today, so if you want to hear more about it keep reading!
Today was a busy day. Julia was running around going to different appointments. Abigail was gone with Aunt Jen for a good portion of the day, and I was at home with Elijah. I had a busy day at work, and also helping Elijah with his schooling when I would get a few minutes here and there. We did get to do some fun things, though.
I didn’t get to spend much time with the kids today, so there’s not a lot to share from my day. But I do have a quick update to share on his physical therapy.
I was talking with Julia yesterday about homeschooling and she mentioned that we’ve already completed five weeks of school. Wow! Seems like that’s gone really fast. Here’s a quick update on how things are going.
I don’t have a lot to share today, wanted to get on here to share a picture with you guys. This morning we went to church, and let Elijah use his walker. We have a good family friend at church, named Tito, who also uses a walker. So today, they were walker buddies!
If you don’t know, we don’t really have any pets. Well, that’s only half true. We do have one pet, Chavo, a box turtle. Julia has had him since she was a kid, so he’s really old. But, he’s not really the cuddly, playful, take him on walks kind of pet. In fact, he’s pretty much the most low maintenance pet there probably is, so much so that it’s easy to kind of forget about him. Anyway, all that to say that if we want to get our fill of animals, we have to do it someplace else. Today we took one of those trips.
